Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 21, 2026 · Español · Português · Français

Ya lo tengo is an app to organize your family's medicines, keep photos of prescriptions and boxes, and get dose reminders. This policy explains what data we use and how we protect it. It applies to users in the United States, Canada and every other country where the app is offered.

1. Data we collect

This is consumer health data. We use it only to provide the app to you.

2. Data about your family

When you add another person, you confirm that they agreed to it, or that you are their parent or legal guardian if they are a minor. Only your account can see that information, and you can edit or delete it at any time in the Family tab.

3. How we use data

4. What we never do

5. Service providers

These providers may process data on servers located outside your state, province or country, including the United States.

6. Your rights

You can access, correct, export (backup) and delete your data from the app at any time. To delete your account and all your data, withdraw consent, or ask any question, email contact@getyalotengo.com. We reply within 30 days.

United States: depending on your state (for example California, Washington, Colorado or Virginia), you have the right to know, access, delete and correct your data and to opt out of its sale; we do not sell it. Ya lo tengo is not a HIPAA-covered entity.

Canada: under PIPEDA and Quebec's Law 25, you can access and correct your information and withdraw consent. The person responsible for protecting personal information is Stanley Pierre (contact@getyalotengo.com).

To delete your account and all your data, use “Backup & help → My account → Delete my account” or follow these steps.

7. Plans and payments

The Free Plan costs nothing. The Family Plan is a monthly subscription you can cancel at any time from Google Play or from "My plan". After canceling, it stays active until the end of the paid period. Medicine alarms work on every plan.

8. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access rules that prevent one user from seeing another's data. You can turn on a PIN to open the app on your phone.

9. Children

The app is meant for adults who manage their own or their family's medicines. Children's information may only be added by a parent or guardian.

10. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and let you know in the app.
